Step 1: Complete Your Online Registration
Create an IAESTE account and complete your online profile with accurate academic details, skills, and preferences. Upload all required documents, including your CV, transcripts, and a motivation letter. This profile helps match you with suitable internship offers that align with your study field and professional interests.
Step 2: Application Review & Nomination
After submission, the IAESTE Kenya team reviews your application for completeness and eligibility. Shortlisted candidates are nominated to host countries or employers based on availability, fit, and merit. Applicants receive guidance, feedback, and support throughout the process to ensure transparency and equal opportunity.
Step 3: Selection & Offer Acceptance
Once selected by a host organization abroad, you’ll receive a formal offer outlining internship details, duration, and expectations. Review and accept the offer within the given timeline. IAESTE Kenya assists with documentation, visa processing, and communication with the host employer to ensure readiness for travel.
Step 4: Pre-Departure Orientation & Travel
Before departure, all selected interns attend IAESTE’s pre-departure briefing covering travel logistics, intercultural communication, health, and safety. Our support team ensures you are well-prepared for both professional and cultural adaptation. This preparation sets you up for a successful and rewarding exchange experience abroad.
