Leading Exchange Through Shared Vision

Our People, Our Strength

Collaborating Beyond Borders for Impact
The National Leadership

Guided by Excellence and Integrity

The National Committee provides strategic leadership for IAESTE Kenya, translating the global mission into local impact. It consists of elected officials and representatives from universities, industries, and government sectors. Together, they steer policy, finance, and partnerships while ensuring that all exchanges uphold IAESTE’s values of trust, professionalism, and intercultural cooperation. Their collective leadership strengthens collaboration between academia, employers, and international partners.

Executive Committee

Driving National Program Implementation

The Executive Committee oversees the day-to-day operations of IAESTE Kenya. Led by the Chairperson, it includes the Vice Chairperson, National Secretary, Treasurer, Exchange Coordinator, and Marketing/Branding Officer. This team ensures smooth coordination of exchange programs, financial accountability, and communication among members. Their leadership translates IAESTE’s strategic goals into tangible results — from facilitating placements to strengthening the visibility of Kenya within the global IAESTE network.

Advisory Committee

Guiding Policy and Academic Alignment

The Advisory Committee includes representatives from academia, industry, government, alumni, and local student leaders. They provide high-level oversight and professional advice to ensure IAESTE Kenya aligns with national education and workforce priorities. Members draw from diverse institutions and sectors, contributing specialized expertise that enhances the quality, relevance, and inclusivity of exchange programs. Their counsel keeps IAESTE Kenya connected to both academic standards and industrial innovation.

Local Committee Leaders

Empowering Change on Every Campus

Local Committee Leaders are the heartbeat of IAESTE Kenya. As presidents and coordinators in member universities, they lead student engagement, recruitment, and placement efforts. Their leadership ensures every IAESTE member gains valuable experience in teamwork, project management, and cross-cultural communication. By fostering professional growth and peer collaboration, Local Leaders uphold IAESTE’s commitment to nurturing globally minded graduates ready to contribute to Kenya’s development.

Alumni Network

Building Lifelong Global Connections

The IAESTE Kenya Alumni Network brings together past exchange participants who continue to support the program’s mission. Alumni act as mentors, career coaches, and ambassadors — sharing their stories of transformation and guiding new students through the process. Their sustained involvement strengthens IAESTE’s intergenerational bonds, provides valuable feedback loops, and builds a professional community dedicated to promoting international cooperation and lifelong learning.
